Perfect for holiday gifts: Nishiguchi Kutsushita Pop-up

The season is upon us, as the cold deepens and the city lights begin to sparkle. struct's annual holiday event, which has been popular every year, is back again.

From Saturday, November 29th to Monday, December 22nd, we will be holding a pop-up store for NISHIGUCHI KUTSUSHITA, a Japanese factory brand that has been making socks since 1950.

The holiday season is a special time to express gratitude to loved ones and treat yourself for a year of hard work. When choosing a gift, you probably want to give not just something visually appealing, but also "comfort that brings genuine joy." Socks, an indispensable companion to sneakers, often play a supporting role. This year, struct is delighted to welcome back this Japanese factory brand, which thoroughly pursues the value of socks and thoughtfully considers the wearer.

"Haku Hito Omoi" - Delivering Happiness from Your Feet

The origin of NISHIGUCHI KUTSUSHITA is encapsulated in the phrase "Haku Hito Omoi," which means "thinking deeply about the wearer." They view socks not merely as fashion accessories, but as "underwear" that are closest to the skin and demand the utmost attention to comfort. They pursue timeless, basic, classic socks that transcend trends.

Their commitment to high-quality natural materials, knitting techniques that leverage both old and new machines, universal designs, and fair pricing are all answers born from their dedication to "the wearer." They aim for a society where everyone, from wearers to makers, can be happy, practicing the use of natural materials, avoiding overproduction through creating staple items, and manufacturing with fair value. A pair of socks imbued with this philosophy will surely brighten your everyday life with the comfort you feel the moment you put them on in the morning.

Embrace the Season Color "Oku-Yamato"

In addition to their standard products, this pop-up will feature a collection of the 2025 season colors with a special story. These season colors are inspired by the magnificent nature of "Oku-Yamato," located in the southern part of Nara Prefecture, which is the designer's roots and source of creative energy. The "colors" and "atmosphere" etched in their hearts after immersing themselves in the nature of the green mountains and clear streams are expressed in these socks. We will introduce some items inspired by Oku-Yamato and made with warm materials suitable for the holiday season.

Wool Jacquard Socks

These are sturdy and warm socks, firmly knitted with shrink-resistant wool. The limited edition season color "Lantern Orange" represents the warm light of lanterns at a hot spring inn.

Wool Rib Socks

These thick yet light and warm socks are blended with soft, bulky wool. The limited edition season color "Shrine Red" expresses the special charm of traditional red Japanese shrines.

Silk Cotton Home Socks

"Home-only" socks. The outer part is cotton, and the pile touching the skin uses highly absorbent and heat-retaining silk cotton, with minimal elastic for a relaxed fit. The limited edition season color "Amber Beer" expresses the depth of craftsmanship felt from Oku-Yamato's beer.

Cotton Cashmere Walk Socks

Designed for walking. Cashmere is blended into the cushioning pile of the sole to reduce stuffiness and coldness. The support elastic prevents slipping during long walks. The limited edition season color "Kusamochi" is the calming color of a traditional Yoshino confection.

Silk Cotton Rib Socks

Using a balanced blend of silk and cotton, these socks are warm in winter and comfortable in spring and autumn. They have a dressy sheen and are suitable for both suits and casual wear. The limited edition season color "Susuki Gold" is inspired by the mysterious twilight scenery of Soni Highlands.

Mohair Wool Pile Socks

Socks designed for snowy regions. Made with brushed yarn blended from soft kid mohair and wool, they are warm despite being thin. The ankle has a double-knitted leg warmer specification. The limited edition season color "Trail Road" expresses the refreshing feeling experienced when walking the paths of Oku-Yamato.

Additionally, during the event, customers who purchase three or more pairs will receive a complimentary gift bag. This bag features the brand's symbol, named "Sock Heart" because when viewed from a certain angle, the socks resemble a heart shape. This symbol expresses the "Haku Hito Omoi" (thinking deeply about the wearer) philosophy of everyone involved in sock making.

The "comfort" of NISHIGUCHI KUTSUSHITA further deepens the "joy of walking" that blueover sneakers aim for. Please find the perfect combination for your loved ones or yourself.

A special holiday gift, wrapped in comfort. We sincerely look forward to your visit.
